Its dark history, involving a tragic love affair and a brutal murder, had given rise to countless ghostly tales. But on a moonless night in October, the specter of that haunted past became all too real.

The manor, now abandoned and overgrown with ivy, had been the site of the gruesome murder of Lord Sebastian Blackthorn, a wealthy aristocrat, and the disappearance of his lover, Lady Isabella Montgomery. Both were said to have perished in a lovers' quarrel, their restless spirits haunting the manor ever since. When a group of curious paranormal investigators arrived in Ravenscroft, intent on exorcising the malevolent spirits once and for all, the quiet town was thrown into chaos.
